About NAGOA

The number of Vehicles, Plants, Machinery & Equipment in Uganda is continuously growing and this has led to demand for proper and eco-friendly repair and maintenance of these automotives, yet a significant portion of auto garages operate in the informal sector, often lacking formal recognition, regulation, and support.

This situation has highlighted the need for an organized body to advocate for garage owners’ interests. Environmental management, Continuous Training, Promotion of best practices/repair standards are some of the aspects NAGOA addresses to ensure a higher level of service and customer satisfaction.

Also, Networking and Collaboration among members goes a long way to boost member garage businesses which leads to sustainability, hence, job creation as well as contribution to the National revenues. Overall, the establishment of NAGOA in Uganda aims to support garage owners, enhance the professionalism of the industry, and contribute positively to the broader automotive ecosystem
